Milan Clinch Local Bragging Rights

It’s been quite some time since I last posted an update regarding my favorite team, AC Milan’s progress. With 31 weeks into the season AC Milan now stand five points clear of main rivals Inter after having defeated them yesterday 3-0 in the last derby of the season in Serie A.

It began as good as it possibly could with Alexandre Pato scoring 1-0 in the very first minute thanks to brilliant play by Seedorf and Robinho. An hour later Alexandre Pato scored again making it 2-0 and grabbing a solid grip around the game. Milan dominated the entire game and held the pace at a very enjoyable level and delivered brilliant football. During the last few minutes AC Milan were awarded a well-deserved penalty kick which Cassano scored sealing the three points and making it 3-0.

AC Milan now have seven games left to play in the league totaling 21 points. This means anything can happen of course, but at least we’re in the lead and clear favorites to clinch the scudetto 2010/11. Forza Milan!

Milan’s hero last night.

This win clearly demonstrates that Milan are incredibly dangerous even without Zlatan, which I believe was a very important display.
