Jon Jones once again dominated in his title defense and has done so in pretty every single fight of his career in the Light Heavyweight division. He has more than cleaned out the entire top seven ranked guys in impressive fashion and there are only a few worthy challengers in the near future, if at all. So what’s next for Jones?
Some people are arguing for a move up to Heavyweight. I think that’d be a mistake on his part, and he should instead arrange the dream fight everyone wants to see: Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones instead. A superstar fight in catch-weight where they meet half way. Their match-up is perfect and it is a fight I am sure that every single MMA fighter wants to see.
What are your thoughts on the current situation of the Light Heavyweight Division in UFC? Do you think that Jones has cleansed it out already in less than two years? Or do you think the match with Dan Henderson will be an exciting one and that Henderson might win? I consider Henderson to be amongst the greatest legends of all times in this sport, but unfortunately I don’t foresee his H-bomb defeating Jon Jones.
The most superior fighter I have ever seen.
