Titanfall has no singleplayer

Respawn Entertainment have now confirmed that their next Xbox One exclusive killer-app that won numerous “best game of E3” awards will not have a singleplayer campaign, but will instead solely be a multiplayer experience. And you know what? I like it.

It takes balls to do something like this. A lot of poor third-world kids with Internet from the 80:s will complain. But who cares about them? Respawn had a very good reason to skip it. They want the multiplayer to be perfect and are a growing studio, to waste resources on a short 5-hour campaign is pointless in their opinion, and I concur.

TitanFall looks like the most amazing shooter I’ve ever seen, and that’s no little accomplishment. I have expectations beyond realism. I can’t wait. I’ll buy every single DLC and even a collectors edition should there be one. This is the reason to own a Xbox One.

You wanted an exclusive killer AAA-title for the Xbox One, Microsoft delivered.
