Already planning Vegas III

August 30, 2013

Even though my third Las Vegas trip won’t be for another several hundreds of days, I ‘ve already begun planning on what we will be doing once I arrive.

We did a lot of things the first two times I was there, but as you know, you can never do everything in Vegas because there’s always something new to do. Vegas is my favorite place in the world, and I can’t wait to go back already. Plus I love to plan so it’s no wonder I already have a long list.

Last time we were three buddies and hopefully we’ll be that again, you know, a college reunion again. It was blast last time. Can’t wait. Summer, please come faster!

Regularly going to Beach Pool parties at the Mandalay Bay will be a frequent activity for me next year.

Vegas again next year

October 5, 2012

Me and my friend have come to an agreement: I’ll visit him in Vegas for a third year in a row and make it bigger and better, as is tradition.

I’ve now spent two summers there visting my old college friend and this summer another friend from college joined us, hence bringing back the legendary trio we were in college. It was a fantastic time and even better than my first time. Both of us wanted to prolonge our stay there and we have now decided to go again next year.

So what’s on the agenda? Shows, golfing, paintballing, clubs, talking, gaming and much more. I can’t wait for it.

This is one of the four shows we plan on seeing next time.

Round-up: Las Vegas

July 9, 2012

And so my second adventure in Las Vegas is about to come to an end. Tomorrow I begin my journey home and I enjoyed Vegas more than ever second time around and will definitely be back for a third time next year. Sin City was without a doubt built for me.

I already posted some of the things we squeezed in this time, although we did way too many for me to have the energy to go into detail in every single one of them but a few of the highlights include Sapphire, UFC, golfing, Penn & Teller and Blue Man Group. Like I said, this is a city that isn’t exactly short with things to do.

Me and my friends (this time there were a total of three of us) are already beginning on planning for next year and have the shows picked out and a few activities already despite being a year away from our reunion.

My favorite city. See you next year!

July 7, 2012

Just like last year, my Vegas trip is packed with great entertainment and adventures. One of the new ones that I didn’t do last year is the Stratosphere experience which is the highest building in Las Vegas and it has rides on it. Pow wow!

Like I said, it is the highest building in Vegas and it offers a fantastic view and some really scary rides if you are afraid of heights. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Vegas and it definitely will go on my Vegas guide to-do-list.

There are three rides you can go on and you can go sky jumping as well from it. Are you a dare devil? This is the ultimate test in Vegas to find out.

Two of the rides we went on.

Blue Man Group

July 6, 2012

Every time I go to Vegas I try to fit in at least one major show to catch. Last year it was Cirque Du Soleil Ka, and this year I decided to go even bigger and see the trademark of all Vegas shows – The Blue Man Group.

Even though it might not be as hot now as it was several years ago, this show is still on and one of the biggest ones. And now I understand why. It was absolutely fantastic. It was fun and it had great music and memorable scenes and it was just exactly what I needed that night .

I’m not going to spoil a single thing, so all I am going to say is that if you’re in Las Vegas, you have to go to the Venetian and see these highly entertaining blue guys.

An unforgettable experience.

Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club

July 2, 2012

Well, when in Vegas, you got to do it right, right? So me and my friend decided to visit the world’s largest gentlemen club, the Sapphire Las Vegas. And boy, oh boy, was it big!

With over 400 women to choose from and hundreds of them being available daily, these gems are in infinite supply and there is something for every taste. I cannot imagine a single guy being unhappy with the selection and the quality of these ladies and I had never seen anything like it before I stepped in. Even the club itself was up to a high standard and had large televisions and entertainment options in a more casual way if other things than women would be on the agenda.

The ladies at Sapphire are of the highest quality and at a skill level I have never seen before. They completely outclass the other two strip clubs that I have been to in such a way that I was shocked. It was a beautiful experience and I will indeed never forget it. In fact, I want to come back next year again. It was that great.

Epic. Simply put epic.

Longing for Vegas

March 25, 2012

Oh dear Vegas, Sin City, how I miss you. But don’t worry. I’ll be back. As soon as I get the chance.

Despite being there for almost three weeks last year, there are still plenty of things me and my friend have planned for our next Vegas adventure. It’ll definitely be more concerts, shows, standup and nightclubs. You know, the classics. Plus paintball and Go-Karts.

Have you ever been to Las Vegas?

It is fabulous indeed.

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas

July 5, 2011

My almost three-week long vacation in the United States has come to an end. During my time here with my friend James I got to experience some truly wonderful and unforgettable memories and scenery. In case you missed it, I spent my of my time in Las Vegas but also drove down for a quick exploration of the famous and popular Los Angeles.

Three weeks and over 180 pictures later, it’s quite obvious that I will not be able to fit it all into this blog. I will instead choose some highlights and upload a few pictures, as only my closest friends and family will be able to see all of the pictures in person. Here are some of the things we did:

Chateau Night Club

We went to different clubs, but one that was more memorable than the other was, Chateau. Why is that you ask? Well, simply because we got to party with two public figures and they were none other than Bam Margera and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and that was godlike. All night and champagne bottles at $650 each and you begin to see the high class of this party. Two days later Ryan Dunn passed away though and I would like to include him here to honor his memory. Rest in peace, Ryan.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios was definitely one of the highlights of this trip. The coolest amusement park that I have been to and can remember. Sorry, Disney World, I can’t really remember you, and that says a lot. We spent more than seven hours there and we still didn’t do everything. And you know what that means, we’ll be back. We did the world-famous Universal Studio Tour and we saw Shrek 4D which was my first 4D experience. We saw all kinds of shows such as Water World, Animal Workers, and Special Effects Studio. We went to the House of Horror’s and we also allowed the Mummy to get his revenge on mankind in the most fun roller coaster that I have ever been in. We had perfect weather all day long and it was an unforgettable experience to say the least. World-class entertainment for a very reasonable price. You have not lived until you’ve been to Universal Studios Hollywood.

Cirque Du Soleil

They call it a gravity-defying experience and it is exactly that. Some of the most amazing acrobatics that I have ever seen and the most amazing theater performances delivered. Unrivaled stage detail and atmosphere as well made this show worth every penny of it’s $100+ price tag.  Sound effects were also wicked and so was the soundtrack. Oh, what Cirque Du Soleil show was it? It was KA and I will be back for more Cirque Du Soleil whether it be KA or something different. They have proved that it was worth every penny and I will never forget the performance that I saw. Masterful. Unfortunately it was strictly forbidden to film or take pictures during the show, so I can’t really show y’all anything from it.

Go-kart racing

You might have seen my date one report, but in case you didn’t, we went go-karting and it was a blast! For kids you say? Well, these babies go up to 45 mp/h and that’s quite fast when you’re in a little kart like that. It was a lot of fun and I definitely want to do that all over again. Many times. Racing is fun and even though I came 2nd, I am happy. Next time I’ll be aiming for that sweet number one spot. Speed racer!

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

The MGM Grand is a beautiful and enormous hotel and casino with nice gambling options and as well as clubbing, dining, bathing, and entertainment. It is the perfect casino that has everything you could possibly want inside of it and it is located right at the start of the Las Vegas Strip so you have everything within a walking distance. Next year when I come back there will be more MGM Grand for sure. Both for more gambling and shows, and dining. And their pool is simply fantastic. But next time I will also check out the Palms Hotel to see who truly is the king of Vegas. Or maybe Caesar’s?

Obviously there were a lot of things to buy here and I did buy everything I wanted so I am very happy about that. I got myself a lot of new clothing, souvenirs, electronic gadgets, postcards and you know just nice food and experiences. If you plan on visiting Vegas, be sure to bring a lot of money. It’s very easy to spend $1000 per day here as there is simply so many different things to do that are out-of-the world.

And that’s not even half of it, but I don’t want to drag it out as there simply is too much. I have never seen a city like this before. More entertainment and things to do than any other city. I can easily say that Las Vegas has become my favorite city in the world.  No doubt that this was the best vacation I have ever had. Will I come back to Vegas? You bet. Hopefully already next year.  There’s still more to do and next time I might stay even longer. Me and James are already working on the sequel, but next time there’ll be more of us! Fabulous Vegas, baby!

Thank you, Vegas!

June 21, 2011

As you can see the blog isn’t getting much attention. And it won’t. Not until I’m back home.

Why is this you ask? Simply because Vegas is too much fun. There’s so many things to do all the time that this will be my last update until I get home.

43 degrees Celsius. Over & out.
