South Park season 17 begins

September 29, 2013

I’ve now seen the premiere of the new South Park season and I am satisfied. It wasn’t a superstrong episode by any means, but it was a good one. I laughed. It entertained me.

Have you seen the new episode? What are your thoughts?

The Vampire Diaries

April 17, 2013

One of my “new” favorite television shows now is without a doubt, The Vampire Diaries. I just finished the first season and I can’t get enough.

I recently begun my marathons of series as I they have begun to pile up and I don’t really want to have that much to watch during summer, and VD was on top of my list and I am happy it was. I mean, how hot isn’t Damon, am I right? Also Caroline isn’t too shabby either. 😉

Vampires are hot, dangerous and very in right now so I wanted to join the phenomenon and next up for me is True Blood and then back to VD again. I need to at least have seen one season of each show to determine which one I want to see through first. But there are just too many shows in my queue. How will I have a life with so much greatness coming out of Hollywood?

Vampire sex is always hot. And bloody. 😉

The new TUF season surprises

January 27, 2013

So I finished the two-hour premiere of the new TUF season and it didn’t really offer any true insight to what the season will be like as it was the try-outs for who gets to be in the house and who doesn’t. But what I can say is that the try-outs were by far the most interesting ones in terms of the fights and the surprise of the season already for me was that Chael Sonnen has taken on a very professional and mature attitude. How will this affect the season? Good question.

I am sure most of you expected Chael to be trash talking in his usual way and hype things up but this was not the case for the two hours I saw. He was very mature, calm, collected and professional. Sure, he talked a tiny bit of trash but it was done in elegant style and a fun way. I was in shock. Will this be a friendly and boring season? I certainly hope not. Now I don’t know what to expect.

What did you think of the first episode?

Team Sonnen!

Friends Blu-ray

November 21, 2012

Finally! I have in my possession the entire collection of the TV show Friends on Blu-ray disc so that I can enjoy it in glorious HD.

I’ve waited this for quite some time as I am in desperate need of a new “background TV show”, you know, a show that’s on in the background while doing things and when there’s nothing else to do. Seinfeld has long filled that slot with its great seasons but it has come to a point where every episode has been seen more than three times and I just can’t stand it anymore.

Can’t wait to enjoy it in HD for the first time ever.

TV season

November 19, 2012

You might have noticed that I am in a TV show mood and what better time is it to have that mood than during Fall/Winter season? Exactly. None.

With Game of Thrones wrapped-up I still have lots of shows to catch up with. Believe it or not, on the list is still a season of legendary 24. But wait, there’s more! Chuck, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, The Walking Dead and Mad Men.

It should take me quite a while to dig through all of those. Hopefully until the end of the year.

The show I look forward to the most to finish.

Game of Thrones

November 13, 2012

I just finished the first season of Game of Thrones and I am in love with it. Better late than never, right? Already started season two and despite it getting a bit weird towards the end I still am fascinated with the show and intend to watch every single episode of it.

It’s so good that I will even read the books. Yup yup.

Do you enjoy Game of Thrones? If you haven’t seen it, do it.

Winter is coming.

B12

November 8, 2012

American Dad’s latest episode with their boyband B12 just blew my mind. Can’t get it out of my head.

Arrow continues to impress

October 23, 2012

The second episode of Arrow continues to impress and intrigue and that’s good. It’s to get a high quality show like this that’s fresh and new and I intend to stick with it throughout all seasons. Unless it gets insanely dull, of course.

The Vampire Diaries

October 21, 2012

So I just finished the first two episodes of The Vampire Diaries and I am loving it so far. I understand why it has become such a phenomenon. I have several shows to “catch up” on that I haven’t even started, and it’s sad to say as I am a huge lover of motion pictures. At least by waiting this long I get to enjoy it in 1080p Blu-ray. And that’s always some comfort.

After I finish Vampire Diaries, there are several other shows I need to catch up on. True Blood, Walking Dead, Burn Notice, Game of Thrones, yeah, the list goes on forever and and ever. How will I ever have a life? I don’t know. One of my new rules will be to never let yourself get this behind again. 😛

Time to go back to show!

There’s plenty of beauty in The Vampire Diaries.

The Ultimate Fighter hits a new low

October 16, 2012

I have long been complaining about how The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) is getting stale and old. It hasn’t been truly entertaining in a long time and the concept feels old and overdone.

Every fighter has the same boring cliché story and it’s either “I came from poverty and this means everything” or “I am fighting my heart out for my child and family, this means everything to me” and it’s just so cliché and boring. I mean seriously, the fuck? The same shit over and over again.

And the new coaches Nelson and Carwin aren’t that entertaining personality-wise. Rampage vs. Evans and Koscheck vs. St-Pierre were hilarious thanks to the coaches pranks and whatnot. The fighters were always mediocre but now with boring coaches, boring fights and dying concept, I am no longer going to finish the season. It’s just too dull.

And apparently I am not alone in thinking this. The series has hit a new all-time low with only 624 000 viewers. Hopefully it stays this low and the UFC realizes that they have to do something radical with this show. Firstly, maybe hire professional fighters that behave and don’t have the same cliché story that millions of other fighters have already told.
