Broken City

Marky Mark and Russel Crowe. Can’t go wrong, right? Wrong.

Marky Mark was great. And so was Crowe. But the movie itself, it just was this same old cop thing we’ve seen and it offered nothing new or exciting. It was easily predictable, a bit dragged out and not once entangled me throughout any time of the movie. There weren’t any really memorable scenes or moment either, and the ending was mostly unsatisfying. A true definition of “B-flick” as they say.

I saw it on Blu-ray, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone. Only if there’s absolutely nothing else to watch.

Failed to live up to the hype by all means.

Galaxy S4 on March 14

February 25, 2013

Samsung has today confirmed that they indeed will be showing their next flagship smartphone Galaxy S4 on March 14.

Rumors also say the phone will be available only two weeks later for purchase.

I’m actually looking forward to this rent to see if all the awesome rumors are true. Amongst them is the promise of an unbreakable screen. How wicked is that? How will Apple counter?

I really hope that this is how the new Galaxy S4 will look like. And if all the rumors are true, I see myself possibly switching from Apple, to Samsung.

New York, Again

July 22, 2012

I’m back in New York for the second time this year, only for a couple of days, but nonetheless, it feels like a second home to me. Even though Florida and Vegas are beginning to tare that away from the big apple.

Tonight I went out to a Japanese restaurant and had some of the absolutely best chicken teriyaki that I have had, it was completely different, the sauce that is, than what I have been served before. It was also served on a steaming hot plate when it arrived and was way too warm to even touch as it was steaming still. It was a little place in Queens at Austin St.

Tomorrow I’m waking up early to go grab my Starbucks Coffee, well, not coffe but their fabulous Tazo Green Tea Latte with steam milk and green tea, of course. A delicious and healthy alternative to those who drink soda. I myself am a huge tea supporter, in fact, I drink at least 1-2 cups per day.

Might also throw in The Dark Knight Rises while I’m here as it’s much, much cheaper than Sweden. Is it even out there yet? Anyway, that’s all for today.

One of the best drinks at Starbucks in my opinion.
