TV season

November 19, 2012

You might have noticed that I am in a TV show mood and what better time is it to have that mood than during Fall/Winter season? Exactly. None.

With Game of Thrones wrapped-up I still have lots of shows to catch up with. Believe it or not, on the list is still a season of legendary 24. But wait, there’s more! Chuck, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, The Walking Dead and Mad Men.

It should take me quite a while to dig through all of those. Hopefully until the end of the year.

The show I look forward to the most to finish.

Game of Thrones

November 13, 2012

I just finished the first season of Game of Thrones and I am in love with it. Better late than never, right? Already started season two and despite it getting a bit weird towards the end I still am fascinated with the show and intend to watch every single episode of it.

It’s so good that I will even read the books. Yup yup.

Do you enjoy Game of Thrones? If you haven’t seen it, do it.

Winter is coming.

The Vampire Diaries

October 21, 2012

So I just finished the first two episodes of The Vampire Diaries and I am loving it so far. I understand why it has become such a phenomenon. I have several shows to “catch up” on that I haven’t even started, and it’s sad to say as I am a huge lover of motion pictures. At least by waiting this long I get to enjoy it in 1080p Blu-ray. And that’s always some comfort.

After I finish Vampire Diaries, there are several other shows I need to catch up on. True Blood, Walking Dead, Burn Notice, Game of Thrones, yeah, the list goes on forever and and ever. How will I ever have a life? I don’t know. One of my new rules will be to never let yourself get this behind again. ūüėõ

Time to go back to show!

There’s plenty of beauty in The Vampire Diaries.

TV Shows are coming back

September 20, 2012

It’s almost Fall. Well, here it already is based on the temperature. But what does that mean? It means that TV shows are coming back!

Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, and countless more and starting which means that I won’t have any free time left. I mean, the word “boring” simply doesn’t exist in my vocabulary during the Fall season. Loves it.

What shows are you looking forward to the most? For me it’s hands-down¬†Dexter. But I am also looking forward to new ones such as Arrow. My expectations are high for it, hope it delivers.

My most anticipated show this Fall.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

May 3, 2011

Ancient Rome and Greece are the best. At least, that’s what I think. If I could go back in time, I would undoubtedly go back and choose the good old days when gladiators existed and men were real men and women were real women. Why am I talking about this? Well, because I just bought the first season of Spartacus: Blood and Sand on Blu-ray.

I’ve seen one episode already, and it’s good. There’s blood, tons of it. There’s also beautiful naked women and plenty of violence. Pretty much everything you need to have a successful show, no? I am very excited about watching it and I will begin this week as a preparation for the very promising Spartacus: Gods of the Arena which is also as violent and sexual, but a prequel to Sand and Blood when they were gladiators instead of warriors and heroes.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand will be my first Blu-ray review as well as my first TV show review on this blog.

This baby is now mine. Niiiiiice.

The Return of Black Adam

November 12, 2010

Superman is my favorite superhero, so it tends to be that I watch as much Superman related things that I can and it just happened to be that I came across the, short, but good episode of Superman Shazam: The Return of Black Adam in 1080p.

Like I mentioned earlier, it’s quite the short film, or episode, if you will. Running at approximately 22 minutes it doesn’t offer much story or depth, but it does offer some interesting scenes in the superhero world and explains how the Wizard chose his suitor to get the powerful “Shazam” powers so to speak.

If you want a quick fix of Superman and some Shazam magic, you should definitely check this one out as it’s very good and short, kind of like a quickie, huh? Why waste precious time?

Black Adam is a white guy. A powerful one I might add.

Robert Knepper p√• min lista

August 4, 2010
