Game of Thrones

November 13, 2012

I just finished the first season of Game of Thrones and I am in love with it. Better late than never, right? Already started season two and despite it getting a bit weird towards the end I still am fascinated with the show and intend to watch every single episode of it.

It’s so good that I will even read the books. Yup yup.

Do you enjoy Game of Thrones? If you haven’t seen it, do it.

Winter is coming.

Arrow continues to impress

October 23, 2012

The second episode of Arrow continues to impress and intrigue and that’s good. It’s to get a high quality show like this that’s fresh and new and I intend to stick with it throughout all seasons. Unless it gets insanely dull, of course.

The Vampire Diaries

October 21, 2012

So I just finished the first two episodes of The Vampire Diaries and I am loving it so far. I understand why it has become such a phenomenon. I have several shows to “catch up” on that I haven’t even started, and it’s sad to say as I am a huge lover of motion pictures. At least by waiting this long I get to enjoy it in 1080p Blu-ray. And that’s always some comfort.

After I finish Vampire Diaries, there are several other shows I need to catch up on. True Blood, Walking Dead, Burn Notice, Game of Thrones, yeah, the list goes on forever and and ever. How will I ever have a life? I don’t know. One of my new rules will be to never let yourself get this behind again. 😛

Time to go back to show!

There’s plenty of beauty in The Vampire Diaries.

Arrow (Updated)

October 14, 2012

Today I’m going to watch the first episode of the new and promising TV show Arrow.

During my stay in the US it was heavily advertised and it definitely seems to have a huge backing to be “the next big thing” and I want to see if it can be just that.

I’ll update with my impressions once I’ve seen it.

Anyone of you already seen it? If so, what did you think?

Update:

I’ve now seen the pilot episode of the show and I am entrigued. It seems like a very promising series that will offer excitement, action and a twist at some point I am certain. It looks high budget like I predicted and if it continues with this class I expect it to be as big as the expectations are for this show. Already I cannot wait for the next episode to come out so I can see it.

TV Shows are coming back

September 20, 2012

It’s almost Fall. Well, here it already is based on the temperature. But what does that mean? It means that TV shows are coming back!

Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, and countless more and starting which means that I won’t have any free time left. I mean, the word “boring” simply doesn’t exist in my vocabulary during the Fall season. Loves it.

What shows are you looking forward to the most? For me it’s hands-down Dexter. But I am also looking forward to new ones such as Arrow. My expectations are high for it, hope it delivers.

My most anticipated show this Fall.

Bendtner in talks with Milan

August 20, 2012

I wrote previously that Milan were on the look for a striker and personally suggested Dzeko and Berbatov as the ideal replacements for Ibra, and I am sure many fans would consider them to be great as well considering their price and salaries. However, it seems Milan does not think so and are going a very, very random and stupid path.

Niclas Bendtner, that’s right, the Danish international that wasn’t good enough for Arsenal who finishes third/fourth in the premier league every season has confirmed that he is in talks with Milan about a move. Tragic news for us Rossoneri fans as he is not of the caliber we expect Milan players to be of.

Should Milan sign Bendtner I don’t foresee us having a shot at the Champions League at all. In fact, I don’t foresee it now either. In fact, I don’t foresee us challenging Juventus properly for the Scudetto right now either without Berbatov and an additional midfielder playmaker.

Thoughts on Bendtners link to Milan? Is Berlusconi slowly killing Milan by being a jew?

Battlestar Galactica

April 18, 2012

I just picked up Battlestar Galactica season 1 on Blu-ray. I don’t know why. I haven’t seen a single episode of the series but I heard good things about it so I thought, why not? I’ll give it a try.

Expect updated impressions once I’ve seen a few episodes. Do any of you follow the show? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

This box is now in my collection. Let’s see if I’ll add another one.

Seinfeld

March 25, 2012

I’ve watched so much Seinfeld that there’s pretty much no season I can look at without going “Oh, this episode again, I just saw that!”.

It’s a fantastic classic show. Still stays true and strong even to date. And I’ve actually had the privilege to see Seinfeld live in person as well.

I must say though, the last season didn’t end as strongly as I hoped, but it was great nonetheless. I love having Seinfeld on in the background as company. My previous “background show” was Friends, but I need to get all the seasons again so I can have it on now that Seinfeld has gotten “old”.

The heart and soul of Seinfeld in my eyes.

Full Metal Jousting

March 18, 2012

I always say I was born too late. By several hundreds of years. And I think my fascination with the old days proves that. History Channel HD has recently started airing a new TV series called Full Metal Jousting and it’s about… jousting.

Going back in time, well, kind of, they use more modern armor and it’s not quite as grand as it was in the golden days, it’s still an interesting show and competition. Similar to other reality series with competition, they have have two teams against each other and then winners progress until there’s one grand final.

I fell for this show immediately. I will be following every single episode from now. Have you seen Full Metal Jousting? If so, what are your thoughts?

A great new TV series. I’ll definitely follow it.

Iron Sky

March 2, 2012

I rarely make advertisement for movies. I mean, they hardly need my sponsorship with their big budgets. However, there is this one movie from outside Hollywood, with a smaller budget, but with the most amazing concept I’ve seen in recent time in terms of story.

Iron Sky will be coming out next month and is a movie I cannot wait to see. Its story about Nazis returning is… too fascinating. I must see it. But enough talk. See for yourself:
