Chelsea win Champions League

Chelsea are the new Champions of Europe! Beating Bayern 4-3 on penalties after 1-1 draw in the grand final.

I was cheering for Chelsea, after all, they used to be my second favorite team after Milan and my primary team in England. But as soccer slipped more and more on my interest list, so did Chelsea.

Roman Abramovic has spent so much money on Chelsea and wanting them to win Champions League for so long, and now it’s finally happened – when nobody believed it. With their main coach sacked and the stand-in coach in charge, things improved at Chelsea. The FA Cup and Champions League are theirs despite a poor run in the Premier League. But that hardly matters anymore.

Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba deserve this title as I still consider them amongst the very best in the world. Drogba scored the decisive penalty after Cech saved Schweinsteigers penalty to give Chelsea the edge. Congratulations to all Chelsea players for making it a Blue day in Munich and becoming Champions League champions for the first time in their club history!

Congratulations to Chelsea, the wait is finally over!
